Help for swollen hands

Help for swollen hands

My feet and hands are swollen to the point that I can't remove my rings! My doctor said it's normal for the last few weeks and there's nothing to worry about. Any ideas what I can do to remove my rings. I'm not used to wearing them 24/7 and I think I'm beginning to get a rash under them because of the moisture that's trapped underneath. I tried lotion, oil, epsom salt but nothing works. Am I missing anything else?

I have one more week to my due date but the wait is driving me crazy. Would doctors induce if you asked them to? I just can't wait to meet my baby!

I swear : smear butter on your ring and your finger and you should be able to get it off. it is NOT good to have something that tight on your fingers. You can cut off circulation to the finger. Also, smear soapy water or baby oil on to try to get them off.
Most people I know end up buying a cheap wedding band towards the end of the pregnancy so that they don't ruin their good one.

Ugh, I feel your pain!! I can only suggest soaking your hand in ice water. I haven't worn my rings in months, literally!!

The Dr. most likely won't induce 'on request' (oh, I wish!! ) Mine said they'll make me wait at least a week (but not more than 10 days) past my EDD. We already know my baby is bigger than average so you'd think they'd want to induce sooner - but, no such luck!!

We're almost there!!

When mine have trouble coming off I soap them up good in the shower and can usually get them off
