help girls!!!! FH is nuts

Enter Sandman was mentioned with us too....then we decided people would be upset that it was just us walking in and not Mariano Riviera
Still not half as crazy as some of my FH's ideas

ha my FH wanted to use lord of the rings music in our ceremony to have BP walk down the aisle!! or star wars. . . we ended up nowhere near that of course!!

i think both songs could be fun though. . I think that the entrance song can be totally out there and it's all good. .

I think Enter Sandman is pretty fun. So few people will ever remember what you walk into your reception to. Sometimes you have to choose your battles. If your FH wants something at the wedding bad enough to have an opinion on it, it'll mean a heck of a lot to him for you to agree to it -- more than whatever song you may end up choosing will.

I say make the man happy! But then again, it's not my wedding... so you should definitely do whatever you feel works for you two!

Metallica is FH's favorite band and while back I promised him we could walk in to any Metallica song he wanted thinking he would forget....well nooooo he didn't! Now he's borderline teasing me with this. He hasn't picked one yet, but he said its def. not 'Enter Sandman' which is pretty much the only song I know!

I think whatever song is going to get people more excited is best!

At first I thought using a punk song would be ehh.... but not I'm sooo in love with the song my BP will be walking into (Bouncing Souls) and we will walk into Dropkick Murphy's (with a live bagpiper mixed in)...

I think whatever gets people up and excited for a good party would work. I think the Metallica song is just fine.

What I did was - I played the Bouncing Souls song for my co-workers who have no idea who they are and never heard the song before.... They were all bopping around and actually really enjoyed the song. They also felt like partying it up right after they heard it. So they were my little testers and immediately after that I felt 10000000% comfortable with my picks. Maybe you could try something like that??

I don't know if I ever heard the song you suggested. So I can't pick between the 2... but the Enter Sandman song is one that a lot of people do love... even those who aren't hardcore Metallixa fans. So you can't go wrong.

I am sorry I agree w/your FH. Don't kill me but I am a metal head and I am doing all the ooooey gooey cheesy romantic stuff the whole night, so my FH is giving me 30 seconds to walk in to my favorite band 'Hatebreed'. The rest of the night is filled with elegance and romance, give me 30 seconds to be a rocker....I say let him do Metallica!

We walked in to Enter Sandman and it was great!!
We are huge Yankee Fans and everytime the song comes on, we just look at each other and smile. I think it is a good idea if you are willing to go for it.

Hahahaha!! It was sooo adorable! They were sitting in their chairs in their cubicles... just bopping in their seats! They both LOVED it!!! I don't know why it took me sooo long to just do that. I was going back and forth in my head about what 'type' of song would be appropriate. But you know what.. screw that.. just do a song you like that gets you all pumped up!
