HELP! How do I ...

make an ISLE RUNNER?!?!

I'm clueless. What type of fabric? paint? sharpies?
My handwriting is horrible. How do I transfer a monogram and date? eeek...

Any input would be great. Thanks!

I bought this book called DIY Bride... its AWESOME! And it has aisle runner info in there.. it tells you EXACTLY how to make an aisle runner... and I am going to make my own following this book! I am also using the book for my STD's... I have pics in my album of the 1st ones... they aren't the best ones of the group bc they were the 1st...but check em out.
I bought the book at Barnes and Noble.. but you can probably find it on amazon too! Good Luck!

I think the book said to take the pic to a copier and have them blow it up.. then trace the image onto the aisle runner and paint it.

u can either

1) buy an aisle runner from ac moore, print out your monogram and/or quote in a really big font (i think i used font size 220) then tape it under the runner then trace it with sharpies and paint pens

or

2) buy material from somewhere like joannes fabrics (i bought white muslin fabric) and then do the same as above

both places have 40% off coupons that u can find online so make sure u bring one

I also added ribbon to both sides of my runner for an extra touch (i hot glued it but if your good at sewing thats an option too)
