Help! how do I pick a venue?!?

Hi ladies,
we started looking at venues last weekend (Inn at New Hyde Park, The Vineyard Caterers, Larkfield Manor and The Woodlands). As you can see, we're really all over the place! lol. i'm not 100% sold on any of the venues as of yet. we're about 200 people right now, so the venue needs to be fairly large and i would prefer 1 wedding at a time. how many places did you look at before picking? where else should we look? i'm looking to stay at under $130 pp total. thanks in advance!

Help! how do I pick a venue?!?

We only saw 4 venues. I was looking for smaller venues (for 100 people) so I can't really help with suggestions, but what I will say is when you walk into the right venue for you, you will know! I have never smiled so hard or been as excited as I was the day I walked into my venue. I made a list of everything I wanted & they had everything on my list. You will have that gut feeling too when you find the right place. Good luck!

Help! how do I pick a venue?!?

Check out Wind Watch Golf & Country Club in Hauppauge :) Beautiful grounds, 1 wedding at a time, and I'm paying $110 per person (with taxes and surcharge). Their food is amazing and everyone there is so awesome and helpful!

Help! how do I pick a venue?!?

One vote for the Fox! (Fox Hollow). It all depends on what's important to you. I wanted the opposite of a catering hall but with all the food& catering included in the price.

Yes! You would fit perfectly in the garden terrace room at fox hollow. We wanted one wedding at a time too, but it was something we compromised on. And fox hollow is so good at what they do, so between that and the layout of the place, I have no fear of seeing another bride at all. Private outdoor area for your guests, bridal suite in the room so you never have to leave. I'm garaunteeing 175 people, I believe Somerely wanted 150 people minimum, but they'd be over your budget since they charge a surcharge of at least $25pp+ ontop of fox hollows price.

Let me know if you want quotes!
