We pretty much decided on Cassarino. We liked who we met with and the package was good. Most places I have been to are willing to 'revise' the package to fit your needs. Cassarino had good prices and were reccomended by a friend.. i hear patken is good as well.

First we started with recommendations from this board, then we broke it down by price. We talked to them on the phone, made appointments, and then met with them. You can also, while you're on the phone with them, see what they have to offer and for what, we ruled out a couple just by talking on the phone with them. Either they didn't click by their personality, or they didn't offer what we wanted. It was a lot of fun. What we hated though, was that since we lived out of state and were on a time limit, when we met with someone we didn't like, it was a waste of time. But, we met with a lot of people, and we decided on Paul Marino. One thing right off the bat was he had a great personality, it's his own company, which we wanted to deal with one man, not a factory of photographers, we know who we're getting. I've heard horror stories of brides that ended up with a different photographer than they were expecting. Now, if that was me, I'd be mad. You're paying a lot of money for pictures, you want to know what and who you're getting. Also, his work is equisite. But everyone has their own needs and wants, so just make a list of what's important to you, and go by that! Good luck!

We looked at all the photographers you have mentioned and then some. We narrowed it down to Tri-art, and Daniel Krieger Photography and Video Productions. We went with Daniel Krieger because he was in our price range, he does not farm his work out, had a great personality, and has been in business for many years. His work was beautifull and my fiancee liked him alot. His number is 631-928-8417. I hope this helps. Good luck

Check out Patken, ask for Steve. We are using him. He is very nice and I hear he is a great photographer. Plus, their prices are reasonable and they will work with whatever budget you have.

I dont mean to add to your problems decision-making, but I used Wedding Group One and was VERY happy with them. They are also a bit pricey, but worth it. Their style is very creative and different, in my opinion. Good luck choosing ! Here is their website. http://www.weddinggroupone.com/ THey have offices in SOHO, in FLushing and in Jersey. GREAT GREAT WORK !

We choose mostly on style of photos and 'value' of package. We are using Mark Kauffman's studio (and had seen Patken, Triart, and a few others on your list that I can't remember). We chose his photographer's because I love the style (it was very different from what other photographers offered), the quantity of photos (2 photographers & 1000 proofs), among other reasons. Photography is really important to me so i was will to spend a bit more to get what I really wanted. Don't feel rushed into making any decisions. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]

I used Park Avenue Studios and they were great www.parkavenuestudio.com or www.parkavestudio.com sorry. The way I chose him was I like the photographers personality and thought that his pictures told a story they weren't just flat. They weren't the cheapest nor were they the most expensive but hey, when all is said and done all you have are your photos and video

Mark Kauffman Studio
I was married in September and Mark Kauffman had my proofs ready before I got back from my honeymoon. Now, my album is almost finished as well. It would have been done sooner, but I didn't get to it. My friend who went with Cassarino was married last March and still has no idea when her wedding album will be ready!!! The quality and service you get from Mark and his photographers is top notch! I would recommend them to any and everyone looking for a wedding photographer.Welcome New Vendors
