How many times did you have your dress adjusted to fit just right? 1 month to go and no dress...see here.
I'm so stressed out this. My dress is really form-fitting, so I'm even more stressed out.
How long did your alterations take?

I had two for them to do work and a final to make sure everything was OK. I started mine 3 months in advance, but I think that's a little earlier than most girls start theirs.

I had one fitting and one final - but there was little work that needed to be done to my gown.

I will have at least 3 fittings.
I had one fitting 2 weeks ago. My next fitting is this Saturday and my final fitting is June 18. It's early because I leave to come back to NY on June 24

I only had one and today I am going for the final. It would have only took a week but I told her she could wait and do mine when she had the time since I would didn't need it until the end of the month.

I have three. Have you scheduled the fittings with your place? Mine scheduled the fittings even before the dress arrived. You might want to do that since your day is getting close.

I saw mine when it first came in...mostly because I never ever tried it on...(long story), but it fit pretty good, so I'm going one month before...and maybe once after that. Not much needs to be done.

My salon told me they would do as many as it takes until it is perfect. My first fitting is 7/21.

I had 3. I also waited till basically the last min. to have my dress altered so I dont know if 3 is the norm.

I had 2 a week apart from each other and will try on the dress when I pick it up again next Wednesday. I had a significan amount of work done to mine.

My fitter told me at least 3 (I've already had one- she started w/ the hem), but if it needed more than that she would do it.

my salon told me the same thing, i am probably going to have a ton because they 'made' me order the dress to the size I was when I KNEWWWW i would be back to my 'normal' size ughhhhh so at least I will get my $$ worth with alterations, i just pray they dont ruin it! though i hear kleinfelds are 'the best'
