My husband and I started looking at houses this past weekend in Nassau and now want to know exactly how much we can afford.....I've done the calculators and got a rough estimate but I want to know Exactly how much- do I go to a bank, a mortgage broker, a real estate????? If anyone has any advice, please help. Thank you in advance...

you can start here for pre-approval to see in what range you guys can afford
once you know what you can afford & get the preapproval, you can start looking at houses and work with a mortgage broker. My DH is handling most of the technicalities so I am sure more of the ladies on here will have better advice.
