Hi Everyone! I am soooo stressed out. This is a second marriage for us and we didn't want to spend a fortune. We have about 125 people and want a pretty room with great food. So far we liked Tivoli Terrace, Manor East and the Holiday Inn in Plainview. I have no clue about the food there. Anyone been to an affair at these places??? Any suggestions?? I really appreciate any feedback you might have...Thanks...Jackie

Re: HELP!! I can't pick a catering hall!!
I do not recommend Holiday Inn at Plainview. There not very personal or professional. My company does a lot of affairs there b/c we are in the same town. Not sure why we keep using them. Sorry

Try Snappers inn, Captian Bills, and Bridgeview yatch club. All of these locations offered me great prices and I hear the food is good. I know Bridgeview is 50-55pp for a saturday afternoon w/passed o'derves, open bar and a nice buffet. I had my engagement party here and it was fabulous. The snapper Inn quoted us $80pp for a Sat evening and it has a great pavilion on the water. I think you will finds a good deal with these places if you look into a Friday night or Saturday day wedding. Good luck!

I recommend Stewart Manor CC!
The place is adorable, the food is good, CPs and cake is included, and it'll be under $75 pp (including tax/grat) for an evening wedding - less for the daytime.
Have fun hunting!

I reccomend Verdi's or the Venetian both reasonably priced! And the food is good at both.

their smallest room holds UP TO 140, so 125 would be super comfy in there!!

This isn't one of your choices, but I want to recommend Westbury Manor - in the Garden Room. Beautiful room, beautiful views, excellent service...mouthwatering food!

Re: HELP!! I can't pick a catering hall!!
Dear Jackie, I'm a wedding newbie too, so I won't be much help in finding places, but I also don't recommend the Holiday Inn. Wen to a wedding at the Swan Club, which I liked and is probably good for small weddings.
