i dont think i like my dress anymore i wish i had looked around a little more. i did get that feeling of it's 'the one' when i tried it on, but looking at my pictures i dont know anymore. my fh will kill me if i get another dress, i dont know what to do

I just got another one yesterday for the same reason.
I thought FH would kill me too but I've been talking about so much he finally gave in.
ETA: I just realized we are getting married at the same church!
Why did you choose it? We did because its where we were both baptized and his parents are parishiners there.

Maybe you're doing everything TOO early ?? Go back and try your gown on again, DON'T go by pictures .........you're hair and makeup and veil etc. are not done - you know ?? The same thing happened to me, -i'm getting married May'05 and got my gown this past March b/c I was so afraid it was going to take me a year to find something I liked. - And then I doubted myself, Go back and put it on again, - I realized why I chose it once I did that !!! Randella- i would have to pay for my dress no matter what and i also got my veil and tiara so i'd have to pay for that too.
Dita531- it's a beautiful church isn't it. we chose it because that's the church fh and his family have been going to for years and me and fh go there every year for christmas mass.
Marissa&Brian- yeah, i think i got my dress too early. i am going to have to go back and try it on again to make sure. if not, i dont know what i'm going to do. i'm gonna have to BEG fh to give me money for a new dress

Ok this is weird but I bought the same dress as you and I really like it, but I feel like im having second thoughts too, maybe its just me obsessing though. I really like it.

Maybe you can sell it??? Maybe put some postings out there on ebay just to see if you can.. That way, you'll feel better if you know you can sell it, and use some of that money towards a new dress.

What if you can transfer the deposit to a new dress ?? They told me @ Bridal Reflections that as long as the designer didn't CUT the fabric for the gown, I could transfer the deposit to a different dress (SAME DESIGNER) it may be a place to start.........

Some places may not let you transfer the deposit. That is a gorgeous dress though! I agree, go put it on again, if you felt that was 'the one' before, you will probably feel like that again. Have you seen something else you liked better? Don't go by pictures. Best of luck!

I FEEL THE SAME WAY! I dont know what to do! My mother would KILL me if I told her I didn't like it anymore. When I put it on I cried, my friend cried and I absolutely loved it but now I'm having second thoughts about it. It also doesn't help that all of my FH's cousins, sisters, etc. who got married spent $4K+ on their gowns and I'm afraid mine is going to look cheap compared to theirs. I know that is stupid but I can't help it. I think I'm going to go back and try it on again....at least its nice to know that I'm not the only one!

Oh my goodness!!! I just went through this last week. My advice would be to try on the gown you ordered and pay attention to how you feel in the gown. You have to LOVE it! My gown felt perfect for me and finally I knew it was 'the one.' Good Luck!
