HELP - I have a killer headache....

I just took some Tylenol My headache is across my forehead, right over my eyes (and I feel tired) and my neck and shoulders are tight.

I actually had this headache on Monday and Tuesday, but yesterday it was much better.


Please share your remedies, please

Do you have high BP at all that you know of? You may want to see a doctor for a 'killer' headache that lasts more than 2 days, or recurs with frequency. Not trying to scare you at all (it could just be tension). Aleve seems to be much more effective than Tylenol (for me at least). Hope you feel better soon.

pinch and massage the skin in between your thumb and pointer finger with your other thumb and pointer finger.

not the webby part, but the meaty part further in.

I don't think so, but my mom has high blood pressure. I forgot to mention that my 'friend' came the other day.

Could it be a migrane? But I don't feel nauseous.

Excedrine!!! It's the only thing that kicks my headaches and I get migraines too.

ALso, no noise, turn off the tv and darken the room.

Aleeve
Sleep
Dark
Quiet
Cold...I'm addicted to this stuff called Head On. You rub it on your head and it's menthol 'stuff' keeps your head cool. OR if you are home just put an ice cold washcloth on your forehead & eyes.

DH gets massive headaches and the only thing that works is Alleve. Within 30 minutes of taking 1 Alleve, his headache will be gone.

Try drinking some water too - hydration helps....

I just came back from getting a chair massage at a nail salon - I feel a little better and I bought some Excedrin and I'm going to have some lunch.

that should do it. Also a little caffeine may help.

Thanks, yeah I drinking some Diet Coke. I am feeling better, but not 100% -- just waiting for the end of the day so I can go home and rest.

Did you take the Excedrine yet? For me, if that doesn't work, nothing will.

excedrin migrane is the best.

and ususaly If I drink something with caffine I feel better too.

yeah I did -- I took it right after lunch (didn't want to take it on an empty stomach).

I am feeling much better now.
