since my wedding is in dec- I want to make a stack of presents out of boxes and wrap them all nice with ribbon- and I would leave a slit in the back to drop the cards in
is that cheesy? do you think I can do it? I can wrap presents well

I think its a great idea Beth - you dont want to do just one box?
you want to do 3 different sizes starting with the Lg. on the btm and then stack?
Use foil paper it works much better and hot glue the boxes together ....... with the ribbon I would get wide ribbon and glue that also that will make sure that it stays stright and tight and for big bows on on the top ..if you cant make them or know someone that does - they sell pre maid one at all the craft stores

GREAT idea I love it just wrap up bokes and cut out the bottoms so it falls to the bottom. and put a slit on top

Of couse, anything. And I'm good at bows too! I have a signature seamless wrap, its actually hard to find the seam. I found the best ribbon to use has a bit of wiring on the edges.
