Hi girls. I posted this before I think, but with all these wedding plans, I am crazed, as I am sure you all know. My sister is my best friend, my Maid of Honor, etc. I would really love to get her a nice, extra special, creative gift. I was thinking of maybe a picture collage and jewelry. But I wouldnt know where to begin with a collage. Or another idea would be great too. Can anyone give me a truly GREAT idea for her. Something very meaningful! Thanks so much!!!!!

HELP, I need a creative gift idea for MOH
I did a picture album of me & me sister through the years. I went to one of those kodak machines and had them copied to 4x6. Then I found poems on the computer and printed them on 4x6 index cards. Every picture was followed by a poem. Then save the last for a wedding picture. I did this for her for a going away gift and she LOVED it. Just an idea.

Where did you find the photo album. How many pictures did it hold. Normally a photo album holds a lot of pictures? How many pictures did you use. and can you tell me where you found the poems. That sounds like a nice idea!

if you like, i can email you the poems I saved. Some are already 4x6 and some are just poems i cut & pasted. I got the album at walmart it was cute with 2 little girls on the front. They were in a binder type so you can add or take out the pages. Let me know and I will send you whatever I have.

Oh please do!!!!!! That would be such a great gift idea, I know she will LOVE it! :_)))
For Christmas I made all of my siblings and my parents scrapbooks of us as children. I brought American Greetings scrapbook software, scanned in a zillion photos, and used the software to create the pages. I also put the photos on a CD. Everyone loved it and most cried when they saw the photos.

Last year I was the maid of honor for one of my best friends whom I've known since we were like 4. As a little something special I made her an album. Instead of going to one of those machines, I either found the negative (on more recent pictures) and scanned the rest and printed from computer (much cheaper then those machines if you have alot of pictures). I also used poems thru out the book but mine where alot of friends poems. I got the photo album at Thing Remembered, and had our names engraved on along with Friends Forever.
good luck!!
