I'm looking for a DJ, and I'm having trouble. We've met with Steven Charles Entertainment- DEFINITELY not for us; FM Entertainment- I liked them, loved the pricing, FH didn't like them; and Long Island Sound- we both liked them, but feel their prices are really high.
I would like to keep it under $1500, we dont need anything fancy- I'd rather have the plasma screen than light shows for example.
Can anyone reccommend a DJ with moderate pricing and great personality?

I second parties alive - i am goign to a wedding in a few weeks that he is doing, i'll let you know. I was impressed by his non-pushy, very relaxed style.
I thought LI sound was expensive too - they kept trying to sell me light shows even though I didnt want it

We've booked Ralph from High Energy. Really liked him. When we told him that we weren't interested in all the bells, whistles and giveaways, he said no problem and gave us a great price on a basic setup, a better price than I was expecting, in fact.

We booked with A. Stan Weist. He's a little kooky, but we were very comfortable with him and he gave us great pricing. I think he's a vendor on here

My DJ was phenomenal!!!!!! Def. one of the best vendors I had. His name is Mike Nappi, his email is [email protected] he's based in Howard Beach, his price was very reasonable, we got the plasma screens, giveaways, bonus photo person....He was just amazing! Good luck! XOXOXO Kitty
