I'm looking for a DJ, and I'm having trouble. We've met with Steven Charles Entertainment- DEFINITELY not for us; FM Entertainment- I liked them, loved the pricing, FH didn't like them; and Long Island Sound- we both liked them, but feel their prices are really high.
I would like to keep it under $1500, we dont need anything fancy- I'd rather have the plasma screen than light shows for example.
Can anyone reccommend a DJ with moderate pricing and great personality?

I recc. LI Sound also - I know they are $$$ but I think it is worth it. Check out Vinny from High Voltage - he was our 2nd choice. Good Luck!!!!!

I just used Parties Alive at my wedding on 4/21. They were AWESOME!! I couldn't have asked for anything better! The dance floor was packed the whole night - I highly recommend them!

We are using In the Mood, they are a vendor on here. They could probably work up a apckage in your price range. Ask for Mike.

Try After Hours Entertainment Their in Patchogue. We used them and they were amazing!!! There's also Body Rock in Farmingdale!

I highly recommend VJ Entertainment. He's a vendor on here, he gave me a great price. He's located in West Islip and has been a pleasure to deal with.

here's another vote for Vinny. And he doesn't try to push extras on you. We have a small wedding of about 65 ppl and he said we don't need 2 man for MC and DJ; he can do that himself when he could have easily said no you need 2 and get xtra income. we like him.
