I don't want anything crazy, just some regular pics and some candids. I do like the photojournalism too.
I'd like to keep it under $3,000 if possible. Maybe just an album and a DVD with rights to my pics?
P.S. - Duet is already booked for my day.

I sat with Glen Mar in roslyn. they were prety negotiable. I went wtih Fine artphoto b/c i liked their work a bit better, but they were a bit more then Glen Mar. I know 2 girls on here who booked w/ Glen Mar and are very happy w/ their work. HTH

If you liked Duet, I would recommend Moss Creation. They have a similar style (but I think Moss is better...but I maybe biast cause I'm using them!) Their prices are fair and flexible.

mottophotography.com we r using him, the pics are beautiful, but not insanely over priced. he is good is photography is not your #1 thing, but you do want nice pics to remember the day! HTH!

I like modern wedding photography (www.modernweddingphotography.com) They're more expensive but not by an absurd amount...and you get your album, proofs, 8 hrs of coverage, a dvd, an assistant photographer, and your photos are put up on pictage (password protected). Maybe you can negotiate a little by taking out something to lower the price. The photographer is also on the wpja (wedding photojournalistic association) and it's only the super good photographers that are able to be members on the site. So, I think it's definitely worth at least a look if you a little bit more flexible with price.

Check out John from Photograpy in Style. He does great work (check my e-pics album) and his prices are reasonable.
