HELP, I need a Photographer!!

Original post by KCJones

......any suggestions?

I don't want anything crazy, just some regular pics and some candids. I do like the photojournalism too.

I'd like to keep it under $3,000 if possible. Maybe just an album and a DVD with rights to my pics?

P.S. -
Duet is already booked for my day.

Try Frank Manning at frankdomywedding . com.
He's very friendly and will help you both relax. For the price you quoted, he'll prepare a book for you and each of your parents as well as thank you cards. It's additional for an extra photographer and e-sessions, but they were worth it. The album of my wedding is all Frank's stuff. We have some non-pro shots in the other album.

I used Andreas Rentsch and had a great experience with him. There are pics in my album and review.

I like modern wedding photography (www.modernweddingphotography.com) They're more expensive but not by an absurd amount...and you get your album, proofs, 8 hrs of coverage, a dvd, an assistant photographer, and your photos are put up on pictage (password protected). Maybe you can negotiate a little by taking out something to lower the price. The photographer is also on the wpja (wedding photojournalistic association) and it's only the super good photographers that are able to be members on the site. So, I think it's definitely worth at least a look if you a little bit more flexible with price.

I def recommend you use WPJA as a good place to look for photogrpahers.

Also, PPA is a great source as well.
