HELP!!! I need somewhere for a Rehearsal Dinner!!!

Our place fell threw! It's too long of a story to get into it, but we need some other places FAST!!! Preferably in Suffolk!! Thanks!

How about Mario's in Setauket? Their prices start at $11.95 and up and you can have it any time during the week but only after 8 on Fridays in a private room off to the side. Their food is excellent! I think we are going to use them for our RD.

We had our RD at LoMonaco's in Centereach. The food was outstanding, and the price was reasonable. The atmosphere wasn't terribly exciting, but that didn't bother us since we wanted to keep things low key. They are located right next to Bridal Suite of Centereach. I'd say they are worth a call. How about La Familgia on Main Street in Smithtown, near Casa Rustica. That is where I am holding mine. Not very expensive, good food, great service.

JennRenee, I live right by LoMonaco's and I always wondered if it was good or not. I actually thought it was closed for awhile there...would you recommend it for dinner one night? I would like to try it!

I would definitely recommend it. It's nothing fancy, but the food is excellent!

Becky, no I didn't go to CHS, I just moved right down the block from CHS about a year and a half ago. I grew up in ENPT. Where do you live now?

I graduated in 1993. I went to SMS though. I got caught up in that redistricting when they decided to add 6th grade to middle school and ninth grade to high school. So in 7th I went to SMS instead of DMS where my neighborhood had always gone.

I live in Baltimore now, but I still miss my old stomping ground!

I graduated in 1991. I was at SJH (before the big restructuring ) from 1985-87, so we probably just missed each other.

I had lots of old flames from CHS though . There are many benefits to having 2 HS's in your district, 1 being (in the eyes of a teen girl, anyway) lots of boys to date!!

JennRenee, we totally just missed each other! I played tennis on the middle country team and our practices were at NHS. So I was there every afternoon in the fall from 90-93. I went to Suny Cortland and there were so many NHS grads there.

I can't beleive the years we are talking about. Yikes - when did I get so old?

I also played on the Middle Country tennis team in the fall of '90!!! I was a senior that year. How funny is that?! I bet we knew each other!
My HS boyfriend, who went to CHS also went to Cortland... you probably knew each other too!

My bad, I played in 92 & 93. I really am getting old because I can't remember how many years I played tennis! My sister played too (way after us!) and she still keeps in touch with Coach Cooke.
