It depends on you. I am personally not showing my dress to anyone but my mom and bridesmaids before the wedding. I want to keep the element of surprise.

i'm not very superstitious, so i say go ahead if you really want him to see it... it's not like he'll be seeing you IN it.
i had a friend who actually took her Fi with her dress shopping...

I am not superstitious either, but I love the element of surprise. I want my FH to be in awe when he sees me for the first time. I asked him what he pictures me in and my dress is the opposite and I can't wait for him to see me in it...on our wedding day.

I want to show him soooo bad.....but have firmly decided I am only allowing my mom, MOH (my sister) and my FMIL to see it!
ETA: Oh and obviously all the LIW gals too, b/c I've posted my dress pics!!

I am in love with my dress and it kills me not to show him and share every detail. I've been dreaming about this since I was 3 and want to share every part with the man I love.
Nothing, however, will make me show him. I want to see his eyes fill with tears when I look down the aisle.

I KNOW! it came in early! I wanted to get dress shopping over with over the summer (i work in a HS) so the summer is the only free time I have (mom is a teacher also, so it just made sense to do it now)... it wasn't supposed to come in until the end of Sept/Oct.. (not that that was any better...) but I'm glad I have it now, and won't have to worry about it again, until alteration time!
BTW, I just showed him the tiara and Veil... LOVE MY TIARA!!! (i'll post pics)

I wanted to show my DH beforehand soo bad. So instead of flat out showing him, I pulled out a magazine and showed him a bunch of dresses and asked what he thought of them. Well, one of them was mine and after he looked at them all I said, you just saw my dress, but i wouldn't tell him exactly which one. My opinion, don't show him, the look on his face when he sees you in it for the first time will be precious and definitely worth the wait!!
