I'm working on my place cards and boy, I can already tell you that this has to be the worst project ever. Is there some kind of rule I have to follow when assigning seats? I'm about to throw this project to my bridesmaid and let them fiqure it out.
Time for a glass of wine. It's a good thing I work for a liquor company.

To answer your question...No their is not set rule to follow. Good luck with that....is probably the worst project.

That stinks!
All the weddings I've been to - there have been no place cards. It's a normal thing in my culture - so you show up and sit with your party where there's room. It's going to be a new concept at our wedding for most of our guests to tell them where to sit - I look forward to it! lol

this is how it should be IMO!!!! Thats what I want to do. we both come from divorced families and the worse part is that most of my moms siblings dont talk to each other so if they come where am i putting them?!!?!?!? i say forget it... open seating!!! my mom said no tho

good luck! I'm already having issues separate my brother's wife from his ex wife (who is my niece and nephews mom) and FH's aunt from some of FH's other family members...im this close from hiring a security guard and telling him if anyone fights to just kick them out!!!

isn't this crazy?! i've gone to soo many weddings and never made any requests about who i'm sitting with.
