Help!!!! I'm freaking out!!!!

I think I am really starting to get nervous...so many of you on the sight are so far ahead of me in planning, you are so good at gettingthings done and crossing things off your list; and you are getting married in 2005! I am getting married in just about 4 months and I still have so many things left to do. I still have to:

--hire limos (FH was in charge of this-his only wedding related task-and he still hasnt done a thing

--get undergarments, shoes, headpiece and jewelery (my 1st fitting is on Aug 10th)

--order my favors (I'll probably get this done tomorrow)

--get my invites to a calligrapher & mail them by mid sept

--buy attendants gifts (3 BM's, 4 GMs & flower girl)

--pick out & order FG dress (oh my gosh. I cant even believe this isnt done yet. i hardly know my FG---she is FH's little cousin...so of course this has been put on backburner) Am I screwed?

--shop for honeymoon clothes SOON before summer clothes are nonexistant in the stores

--finish pre-cana. I havent been to church since b4 EASTER!!! I feel like a true sinner & my Deacon is going to kill me when I finally show my face at church.

--Shop for and buy rings...

---oh yes, and lose 20 lbs

How terrible am I???? It's been so hard to get things done between my grueling job and all the summer festivities that are planned and scheduled for every weekend. And I feel so obligated to attend every party I am invited too--especially because so many people will be attending our wedding. I honestly feel like it isnt possible to get all this done! What should I do first? I dont even know where to begin.



Tell me it's OK to call in Sick tomorrow!

Don't worry- I have to do everything you listed PLUS............................
1. get baptized greek orthodox
2. book a phtographer
3. invitiations
4. look for gifts for the bridal party
5. register
6. book photographer
7. get jewelry, veil and headpiece, undergarmets
8. help w/ favor selection
9. plan rehersal dinner10. Book Limos
11. Hair & makeup trials

LAst but not least......................


START DRINKING HEAVILY!!!!!!!!!!

you are not alone

It's okay your have time and at least you know what you have to do. Your 1/2 way there.

Have your list of things you need to get done. then get out a calendar and/or planner and write what your going to do each day. Call anyone you have to call: limo's, etc to make an appointment with them. Try to get something done each day or a few things a day. Once you get it all planned out - it's less stressful. It's only normal you are feeling overwhelmed. If you need to take a day off one day to get a bunch of things done - then do it.

OK...I thought I was crazy...I am stressing over the same thing...summer clothing is not out in October...right???

I really have no money to buy honeymoon clothes, but a girls got to do what a girls got to do!

Thanks! Seeing your TO Do list really made me feel better; I realize I am not the only one who feels overwhelmed. I'd like to open a bottle of wine right now! FYI--I may have to plan a reahearsal dinner too... I thought I could pawn this off on FMIL, but it's not looking very good. She hasnt really done anything to help me so far, so i am not counting on her!

Oh my God...I thought I was reading about myself!!! Im getting married the weekend after you and I still have to do everything that you need to do. My FH was also incharge of limos and it still hasn't been done. I am going shopping this weekend for a flowergirl dress...but as for the rest of the things I don't know how Im going to get done. I keep thinking that I have so much time....but it's going by so fast!!!

Thanks, you too....see I guess we really arent alone! By the way, I already thought of about 7 more things that I forgot to add to my original list---ready:

--make song list for DJ

--Make menus or programs (IF AND ONLY IF) I have time

--get parent gifts

--buy something to have on hand to wear to my alleged shower whenever I suspect I may have to dress up

--get the necessary travel documents for my honeymoon, or they wont let me leave the country

--get my free engagement shots taken

--schedule hair & makeup trials

I'll be sure to let you know as I remember more things....!
