Help - I'm freaking out

Its hard to say how many invites you should send... we invited about 190 and didn't make our min of 140.
You still have a lot of time, you may be able to call the hall and renegotiate your contract for a smaller min. We were able to include vendors and kids and came close to meeting the min. We had the option to either take the extra meals home, or choose an upgrade for the same amount of money. We chose the upgrade. I dont know if all halls will do this though.

i probably won't be making my minimum either - but like the other ladies mentioned, i will include my vendors and children in the minimum if that happens

i probably STILL won't make my minimum but i am kind of looking forward to an upgrade . . . i hate chair covers but maybe they can add different things to the CH or something like that

I would say a little more then 1/2 ..

I entirely feel your panic attack because I did the same thing a month ago. They say that like 20% of your invites will respond no so I guess to be safe try and send out maybe like 75? that would be inviting 150 and then you'll probaby end up close to 120.

Is your problem trying to find 150 people that you want to invite to your wedding? lol cause that seems to be my problem!

if your min. is 120, i would say invite 170-180 people. If alot of guests are from out of town, you'll wanna invite more since there's a higher 'no' response.

If most are couples:

180 ppl / 2 = 90 invites.
170 ppl / 2 = 85 invites.

So that's how much you'll need. Dont forget to invite guests with each single ppl if u're worried about meeting the minimum.

Don't sweat it... seriously.. you will have more than you think. My first guesstimate was about 40 people. Then I did a written list and realized I forgot a few folks.. so it jumped to 65 people. But every few days I go back and add someone else I forgot or FH forgot or his parents forgot... I have gone from 40 to 110 invites!

It will all work out PERFECTLY!
