Re: HELP! Inexpensive wedding needed!

Welcome to the boards! I would say to check out The Meadow Club, We wanted a spring wedding in May the prices go up so we choose the last weekend in April it was a lot less money! Also try Villa Lombardi's, The Thatched Cottage, The three village inn in Stony Brook, The Watermill. There are alot of places that can be affordable as long as your flexable. Good Luck

Ok, ready:

I am looking to have no more than 225.
I want a Friday night wedding. No sundays.
Depending on what is included, I want to spend no more than $85 a person.

I never planned a weddding before so I am a rookie in this department, but I feel like I have only one option to cut the costs, cut the list????

Audrey

We are having minimum 200 people for $55 per person Friday night in September. Huntington Townhouse.

Try Chateau Briand - I'm at $60/pp on a Sunday afternoon in August, and most things are included.

Their prices change from month to month, and minimums vary by room. Worse comes to worse you'll know either way.

Try the Meadow Xlub in Port Jeff., I am thinking of them..we went there and all..they are $60p/p on a Friday or Sunday in May.

Also look at Windows on the Lake and Beach Club Estates...we went there too (probably what we are leaning towards) both places have the same food and prices and all..both are in Lake Ronkonkoma...$65 p/p in May for friday or sunday....EXCELLENT food too may I add...we went to their restaurant tonight to try it out...GREAT!!!

Welcome and Congratulations!

Coral House is not that expensive
Verdi's of Westbury is not either
Swan Club

I can't think of any others offhand. My wedding will be at Verdi's of Westbury. I think CH is very nice too. Never been to Swan Club.

I am using Queens Bridal Center for my photographer and videographer and got my limo service through them. I have yet to use them so I can't give a definite thumbs up, but I've gotten alot of recommendations and good reviews from them from friends and others.

They have a website - www.queensbridalcenter.com

Their prices are reasonable.

RK Bridal is inexpensive for dresses but the service is 'hit or miss' I think. One of my bridesmaids had a bad experience there picking up her dress. Yet my sister loved them when she went to get her bridesmaid dress. FM me if you want details.

Good luck!
Mary
