My Fh is inviting all the 'bosses' or the company cuz he haas to but he said that out of 6 only 3 will probably show up just to represent.

I opted to not invite any to play it safe. Luckily the one girl i worked with that i was erally close with quit, so now i can invite her and no one will know.

oooooooh thats tough. I dont know, if you arent that close they may not come, but at the same time they may think the same thing and feel that you extended and invite they should go.....![]()

I am inviting my boss. I work in a relatively small department in the hospital and we all work pretty closely. Now obviously I can not invite the entire department but a few close friends. But the boss is being invited mainly because I have worked with him my entire career... And because one of the other girls invited him to her wedding.

I think it is propper to invite your direct boss...lucky me I have 2 ! So we will be inviting some co-workers as well....let's just hope they don't talk shop ![]()

So I think I'm going to invite my manager and assistant manager but here's my question,

Ugh....
FH and I are inviting about 24 people from our respective work places for a grand total of about 44 guests.
On one hand, I don't mind because we're both established in our careers, have good bosses and work with great people but its turning out to be about 20% of the entire guest list!!!
In your case, I would say that if you haven't been there long or if you don't have any close relationship with anyone in particular - invite none of them. Sometimes I wish I could do the same.
