Help!! Looking for Long Island RH under 100pp with tax!!
Hey Guys!!
We've only been engaged for 2 weeks and I've found myself going crazy trying to find reasonably priced reception halls that are inexpensive yet still classy.
I recently went to Atlantis Marine World's Sea Star Ballroom and it was to die for!! Only downside was for a Sept 2012 Sunday day wedding it was about 105pp with tax. Not bad, but the cocktail hour only has 4 cold platters and passed hors d'oeurves. Anyone I have spoken to said that price was crazy with no buffet included in the cocktail hour. To add it was an extra 20pp and I have 170 people and it seems rather pricey for a daytime reception.
I am open to have a Friday, Sat or Sunday night wedding or Sunday day. Fiance is jewish and cannot do a Saturday day.
Nassau, Suffolk does not matter. Someone please help me!! I would prefer around the 70-80pp for a Sunday day and around 100pp for night time, but I am open to all suggestions!!!

Would you be interested in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving? I know a bride who is trying to re book her date for 11/21/12 at Villa Russo with the Viennese Hour and the works. They got a great price.
If not... these places are all in your price range, depending on which packages/upgrades you get.

I got a great price at the Watermill. You should check it out. And if the place you really like is charging just a bit over budget you can talk them down. I know we did and then we asked for things to be thrown in.

Westbury Manor quoted us $93pp (before tax & svc) for a Friday night in April. You can def get them down if you're willing to change month/day of the week. TONS of food! Also - I agree - Watermill has great pricing. A friend of mine looked for Oct 2012 & they quoted her $86pp over the phone (not sure if that was day or evening). Good Luck!

Westbury Manor has beautiful grounds and great service. We got them down to $70 pp before tax and grat. That was for a Friday in Mid march.

They started at $80 I think. Thats what I mean about great service! They were so nice and accommodating!
