HELP! Made sample CD favor, isn't working!!!

Ughhhh, I am so frustrated. I burned all the songs I wanted onto the CD and it was playing fine in my computer, I played it back and was so proud of myself (had no idea how to do this prior today) it turned out to not be as difficult as I imagined.
Well, FI and I sat down to dinner and were going to listen to it in our CD player over dinner and it didn't work!!! The CD player was not 'reading' the CD!!! Did I do something wrong, does anyone know? I really want to do these as favors-but am really frustrated!!! Thanks!

I remember I had an older CD walkman and it couldnt read CD-Rs. I also think my last car couldnt read them either. Only my more recent audio stuff reads the CD-R

Fha nd I had them done for our favors. We used mara from 'do me a favor'. Flacara?(not sure of correct spelling of her screeen name) used her too. She does a fantastic job, and her prices are reasonable. If u can't figure out to make them, u might want to try her. Her email is [email protected]. Good Luck.
