My FH has been dying to have an engagement party and I really didnt wanna have one because I thought I would be asking for too much, plus my bro is getting married next month so I know they have that coming and a few other parties but I have been thinking about it this week and decided that maybe I should have one to have our families get together plus I think it would be a good time, so with that said, any suggestions on where to have it? We live in queens but would go to Nassau, We would probably have about 70 people, which would only be aunts uncles and cousins lol I have a huge family

verdi's, caffe on the green and the hwite house are all in whitestone.. and nice places that caer to smaller parties.

You can go to Roma View in Queens...(Im having mine there) and they have a small room downstairs which would be perfect for 70 people...

At first we weren't going to have an engagement party also. Then we thought about and decided to because we do have a long engagement. I looked at a few places like Peppercorns, Millerage Inn, and Singletons. They wanted about 30-35 pp for brunch. I think Peppercorns wanted 25 pp. It was a little more expensive for dinner. We then decided to save money and have it at FH house instead.
