I strongly recommend you to go personally to the shelters. It has happened to people we know, they call and they say that they don't have the dog, and then when they go personally the dog was there. Some times they get so many pets that they can't keep track of them.

I'm so sorry!!!!! We live off Carls straight path and 2 of my friends live right off vanderbilt -- around the corner from you? We've all got our eyes out!!!! We have a yorkie too! Have you called the huntington dog shelter or even the 2nd precinct? Also -- ask the mailman - he found my mom's dog.

We live right off Vanderbilt- thank you for spreading the word for me!
We are scared because it has been so long- we put posters up and flyers in the mailboxes.
We called all the local shelters and the police- we told the mailmen, garbage men, etc.......

i'm so sorry. i hope you find her. one of our dogs has run away too many times to count and we've managed to find her every time. the last time some neighbors took her in and gave her bath and stuff b/c she limps and they thought she might have been hit by a car! actually she has arthritis. but that was so nice of them. definitely keep calling shelters and make sure they have your number so they can call you back. also try walking around the neighborhood calling for her. sometimes dogs are hiding in bushes or something and won't come out until they hear someone they know. good luck!!

Put fliers at the grocery stores and other stores too near your house. I hope that you find her!

Please keep us posted. Have you checked the shelters yet? As I had said my girlfriends in the area as you and lost her little dog and that is where they found the dog. Good luck
