Hi there....ok i am very confused. I think I have narrowed it down to three places, all with different pros & cons. The prices range is almost in the same range +/- $5000. I know 5000 is a nice amount, but I'm not even thinking of that as long as i choose the right place. Here are the choices:
1. Larkfield Manor - getting a great deal, love the place & i'm probably getting the most for my money, but the are doing construction and i'm not sure what will be available yet for picture options
2. Chateau la Mer - Great price, getting a lot for my money, love the water but also are in the middle of renovations, the ceremony room is not done yet so I cant tell what it will look like or if it will be ready
3. Crescent Beach Club - probably getting the least for the money, place is gorgeous, could possibly get great pics on the beach if I arrive early since sunset in March is around 6 p.m
** Keep in mind I am getting married in March so even though all of these places have an outdoor area I doubt it will be utilized except for smoking

My sister got married at CLM this past July and it was such a beautiful reception! We were treated like family and the service and food is excellent. Matt was our MD and he was awesome!!! so friendly and nice. My sister was kinda scared cause she heard so many wonderful things about Nick on the boards, but EVERYONE there is the best. THe Bridal Attendant Monika is awesome too! Being my sister's maid of honor, I got to enjoy the party because Monika really took great care of her and my BIL. I highly recommend CLM!!!!

I love both Chateau La Mer and Crescent Beach Club. However, if you will mostly be inside, go for CLM, because you get more for the $.

I thought larkfield was beautiful inside, but hated the fact it was on such a busy road and that I wouldnt know how it would look after the contruction.

I'm a big fan of CLM!!!
They have fantastic food and I'm sure renovations will be done for ya.
Its a beautiful site and the staff is outstanding.

Of those 3, definitely CLM! I looked at LM for my own wedding, and had a little bit of an unpleasant experience.

We wernt to a wedding last April @ Larkfield Manor. We rec'd great service from the staff, the waiter for our table, brought us more drinks on the dance floor...
I think if you love the water CLM may be the place for you, if they're giving you alot for your money...
I had my prom @ the Cresent and it's a beautiful, place but it's expensive

I booked Chateau La Mer...Out of everywhere I looked the people at CLM were the nicest and most helpful. You are also getting a good amount for the money...good luck in what you decide. If you have any CLM questions FM me

My brother who is a photographers assistant, said that he is only really familiar with the Crescent Beach Club and he said that if you won't be using the outside area that the other places might be better b/c the best part of the Crescent Beach Club is the cocktail area outside

I would say CLM too, the price is great and they have a beautiful waterfront cocktail hour....and arriving in a boat is pretty cool too!

I was in a wedding this past sepetmber at Larkfield Manor and it was absolutely GORGEOUS!! they did an amazing job there.
We had our waiter taking shot orders at our table!! the food was to die for, and they went around and offer second helpings of food for those that wanted to try something different, on silver platters. there was cake and pastry trays and fruit trays on every table, the cocktail hour had more food than I have ever seen (and I go to a lot of weddings) . The dance floor was huge, there were two bars and they brought a coffe & cordial cart out for the last hour ( by then I had had enough too drink )
and the staff was great, they even brought me a drink right onto the dance floor.. it has such a great feel to it and it was nice because we were the only ones at the hall...
i say CBC (but i'm biased)...but my 2nd choice would be CLM!!!

Really??? I'm shocked. My FH and I went to the tasting for my sister and BIL for their wedding and enjoyed the food then and at the wedding.
Maybe go to a tasting if you're hesitant about the food. I think they have it once a month.

I have never been to any of these three places but my opinion is if I were you I would either CLM or Larkfield Manor...the deal sounds better with those two and with pics, the worst that can happen is you go to a location somewhere...Good Luck!!
