Help me choose a Florist!

Help me choose a Florist!

I am having the hardest time choosing a florist!! I've been to 3 and got quotes on the same flowers (my cp is unusual because it has fruit -I'm not sure if that makes it harder to work with or not). Two of them were recommended by my hall and priced out almost the same. Neither of them had any examples to show.

The third is a florist that I have used in the past and I know does beautiful work. But priced out over $1000 more!!! They say that they are higher priced because of the high quality of the flowers and design. They actually ordered all the flowers in the colors that I want and made a sample cp that was so right on (without ever seeing a picture)!

Now I don't know who to choose! A $1000 difference is huge, but I am not sure if these other florists can really execute what I am asking for. Their shops and pictures were nothing special. Please advise!

Check out Flowers By Emil (a vendor here). Carmine is wonderful to work with and definately worth the trip to Brooklyn to meet with him. Ask luvsun, she drove from NJ to meet with him and loved him. If you want, you can FM him and he will give you a price quote and then you can make an appointment to meet with him.

take a picture of the sample cp the first florist made and bring it to the others.. see what they can do with it. OR since you have used this florist and im sure he wants your biz. again.. tell him the truth that hes 1,000 more then the others and you would love to book him... if he can meet you half way and only be $500 or less - more then the other florists.

hmmmm - this is a tough one.
can the florist you know go down in price at all? did you tell them what you were quoted at other places?
personally, i would go with the one you're comfortable with - even if it is $1000 more, because it would be a huge stress relief to know that they're going to be done right.
that's just me though.
i would spend extra money for piece of mind

I went with my mom and we both got the impression that they would not budge at all on price. You're right though... The question now is just how much is my piece of mind worth?
