I'm not sure which direction I should go...The wedding is in April @ Flowerfield. I fell in LOVE with Imagine, but I'm not really thrilled with the amount of stuff they provide in their packages and their video is par at best.
John from Silverfox offered to shoot the wedding ourselves. We LOVED him and really liked the pics but I think we liked Imagine better...not sure
Then we saw Bret Matthws and Sherwood Triart at Bridal shows and thought they were AWESOME! Someone also told me about Something In Blue that theyre AMAZINg but I haven't seen them yet...maybe some of you ladies can provide a little insight...I'm also wondering where my $$ is best spent...Thanks!

I booked with Silverfox... I liked that everything was in-house and I just liked their photo and video.. FH and I just clicked with them...
Go with your gut you crazy lady... You obviously love Imagine... I think your mind is made up!

I saw Imagine and Sherwood Triart. I ultimately booked Imagine and couldn't be happier. ST did an amazing job also...they were definitely in my Top 3. I didn't know about Something in Blue at the time, but from what I've seen they are excellent. All of the photographers you are looking at though have solid reputations and seem to do a great job.

My first choice was imagine studios but we weren't thrilled with their video. I booked with B Matthews b/c of recommendations from a coworker. Her pics are gorgeous but they do not offer any digital pics. I've heard that their customer service isn't the best. So far, personally, I haven't had any problems or any fantastic raves about them.
I hadn't heard about something in blue until after I booked photog & wish that I at least met with them. They seem very talented.

I voted Imagine bc you still rave about them after all this time... Go with your gut! And dont base sh!t on the video... The video will be beautiful too. But the pix are more important!

I loved Jon from Silverfox, but in the end it was a bit more than we wanted to spend so we ultimately went with Duet. Out of the others you have listed, from reviews I've seen, Imagine & B rett M atthews do some really beautiful work too. Good luck deciding!!!

it sounds like you really like Imagine......but you might feel as guilty as I did for not picking Silverfox- Jon was such a great guy it felt really difficult not picking them.....but I approached it as a business transaction and went with the best quality I could find for the best price. I believe Imagine & Silverfox's pricing is similar, so if I were you I would go with whose style you love more- search through reviews on LIW and see which seems to impress you more overall. good luck!!

I met with SIB and their worki s amazing but pricey. The work I have seen on the boards from Imagine Studios is excellent too.

that policy about booking photo and video killed it for us. Are you sure they wont just do photo??? I havent re-asked them about it because we decided to go with lj and just do the engagement session with imagine.
i absolutely love sib pictures but i heard they will not retouch/do effects and that was something we wanted...even if its just for a few pics.
do u not like imagine's video that much to not book the photo???
i also spoke with lia and she said that the video we saw at her place was the very basic...so maybe they will show u something better???

I have visited all their sites and they all have beautiful pictures! I tried to get an appoitment awhile back with sherwood triart, but they never returned any of my emails or phone calls. :( But now I have a photogrpaher I am very happy with- but it was still weird!

I had the pleasure of hiring Lia awhile back to come to my house and take pics of my daughter, our dog and myself for my hubby for Father's Day. To this day they are by far the most unbelieveable pictures ever - she is just so talented. Everyone who sees the pics RAVES about them.
My vote goes to Imagine - IMO she is one of the most talented photographers I've seen.
ETA - one of my fav pics from her shoot is my avatar.
