HELP ME CHOOSE A PHOTOG

I'm not sure which direction I should go...The wedding is in April @ Flowerfield. I fell in LOVE with Imagine, but I'm not really thrilled with the amount of stuff they provide in their packages and their video is par at best.

John from Silverfox offered to shoot the wedding ourselves. We LOVED him and really liked the pics but I think we liked Imagine better...not sure

Then we saw Bret Matthws and Sherwood Triart at Bridal shows and thought they were AWESOME! Someone also told me about Something In Blue that theyre AMAZINg but I haven't seen them yet...maybe some of you ladies can provide a little insight...I'm also wondering where my $$ is best spent...Thanks!

I booked with Silver Fox. I got such a great feeling from them. By friend Jess (FallBride2008) also just booked them for her wedding.

Something in Blue is PURE photojournalistic - they really don't work w/a 'must take photo list' and 'group/family/traditional shots' - I absolutely love their work, but it's 100% artistic, and if you're looking for a mix - I'd go with Imagine.

Yeah I LOVE their work but not so thrilled with the idea of no 'must takes'...neither will my family...IDK...they're all really good...its a very hard choice....

Silver Fox....but I am biased...they were our photographers and videographers...My proofs are in my album

I personally would go with Imagine. Check out missingthebgene's pictures - they are absolutely gorgeous.

If you liked Imagine... go for it. Silver Fox had a couple of complaints - check bbb.org.

I saw Sherwood's work from an expo- they are awesome but saw Angelica Glass and Gulnara of Bloom Weddings and I loooovvee them!!! Okay, am not helping!

Out of those I would go with either Imagine or **************. If you aren't crazy about Imagine's video, I would tell them you are using someone else for video, but book with them for photo.

can anyone e-mail some package pricing for any of these photographers - i am just starting out with this and i need to get an average idea of how much to estimate.

what are definitenes that i should be looking for in the pagkages. thanks in advance.

we're using silverfox....they are a good friend of the family.....they are very trustworthy and will let yo choose your own photographer according to sample albums that they show you and what type of style you are looking for

I would say ************** for sure. THey have a really classic style that is a good blend of photojournalism and portraits. We couldn't really afford them so we used Peter Jacobsen who had a similar style but came in right on our budget. But we definitely considered ************** as one of our top choices.

I would have picked Imagine but unfortunately from May - November they will not book photography without video which to me isn't right. I don't want video at my wedding and I'm also on a budget. I didn't think it was fair b/c it made me feel like if I didn't want to spend the money then I wasn't worth there time. But If you are doing video then I would absolutely go with Imagine. There work is stunning.

I would say go with Sherwood Triart. FH & I met with them today and out of the three that we met they gave you the most for your money. We are going to book them tomorrow.
