Help me choose an invite...

Ok so I picked my invite. It will be ivory with burgundy writing. The pictures below are just faxes of my proof....so its not the real invite yet. The problem is I can't decide on a monogram. I originally picked the 1st one....but my mom likes the 2nd one better. I don't know how I feel about the slanted monogram. So please vote and if you can leave some feed back. Thanks for the help!

I like #2. They are both very nice, it's just about personal taste. Either one is elegant.

I like the second one better. The slant makes it elegant IMO

I prefer #2 . It goes better with the look of your invitation.

I like the contrast in #1. It makes it stand out more & look more like the monogramis part of the invitation ( like letterhead) and the script invititation is like handwriting, onthe monorgrammed stationary.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Im still not sure what to do. I know the overwhelming response was for #2 but the S in the middle bothers me. I think I actually might look for another invitation...maybe monograms aren't for me.

Both are really lovely - I like #1) Since you mentioned that maybe you want something other than a monogram, and since you are a 12/3 bride (great date - I'm 12/3/05!) maybe you could go with an embossed graphic - holly, snowflake, etc?
