Help me choose - BM dresses

Original post by julz33

I went today with my sister (MOH) and best friend (BM) and we picked out 2 dresses. One is tea length by after six in Rose and one is by Jordan in petal pink.

I love #2 ... especially the color, and I'm usually not a big pink fan .. but that is gorgeous!

I LOVE #2. Its gorgeous!!! Plus #! reminds me more of a springtime wedding for some reason... #2 is more formal and elegant

I like them both... I like one better, but I would choose #2, because you're having an evening wedding...

i agree!!!! i love #1, but i don't know if it's 'fancy' enough for an evening wedding.

I like #2 because it is more ballgown looking. Very elegant. I don't like tea lenght dresses in weddings at all. Also because Jordan makes my BM dresses too

I agree that #2 is more formal but I like #1 better. It took a lot of convincing to get them to try on a tea length dress but once they put it on they both LOVE it! We actually picked the Jordan dress as a backup incase the othre 4 girls HATE the tea length one. We will have to wait and see what the other 4 girls think.

I'm MOH in a wedding the week before yours and we're wearing the After 6 in lavender. It's such a beautiful dress and very comfortable. I'm kind of partial to that one of course, plus the girls can wear it again. I say if you love it then go for it, regardless of formality. Bottom line, it's your wedding so you can do what you want.

I like both of them, but voted for #2 - soooo pretty. I say get #1 for your rehearsal dinner dress!

They are both beautiful dresses, I just really liked #2.

Absolutely LOVE #1 - love tea length dresses. They can be worn any time of the day - for any function (think cocktail dresses).

I voted #1 - without a doubt. If you all love it - especially you - go with your instinct. It's very Sex and the City ala Charlotte's first wedding!

(I wanted t-length...but we all fell in love with a floor length.)

JUST THINK>>>>>>>>

For the pics to come out good, all the girls will have to be the same height for the Tea length to look unifrom!! It you have girls that are 5 ft and some that are 5'10 you are going to have all different lengths

I really love the 2nd one it's so pretty! Do you have the link to that dress, I can't find it. I love tea lengths too but I feel like it might not look good on all body types so it depends IMO.

OOOhhh, love them both!
#1 is more casual, #2 more formal. What time is your reception?

Wow - both so nice, but IMO #2 is the best. It's a gorgeous shade of pink, it's shimmery in a very soft romantic way, and the spaghetti straps with low neckline is very flattering on virtually everyone. Strapless can be a pain to wear, and dance and have fun in, and you want your BP to be dancing and having a great time.
