Help me choose - BM dresses

I went today with my sister (MOH) and best friend (BM) and we picked out 2 dresses. One is tea length by after six in Rose and one is by Jordan in petal pink.

#1 is more casual, #2 more formal. What time is your reception?

Reception is in the evening. I know the long one is more appropriate for evening but I love the other one so much that I would be willing to break the rules

Then go for tea-length!! Your wedding day should be all what YOU want, not what some ancient etiquette rules dictate!

(Both dresses are beautiful, BTW.)

I love the Jordan dress. I wanted it for my girls but they chose another Jordan

Then you should go for the tea length. Women can wear anything from a cocktail dress (to knees) to a full ball gown as a guest at a black tie affair. I don't see why your BM's couldn't wear the t-length - I think it would look beautiful!

Both are beautiful- But if you're wedding is more on the 'formal' side, i'd go with the gown. - Also, keep in mind all of your BM's shoes will be visable -

OH Julz... they are both beautiful

If i had to pick..I would go with 2 only because you are having an evening wedding and the longer dresses are a little more formal for an evening wedding.

I agree! I love them both but with an evening wedding #2 is more formal

I love pink too! I voted #2. I think if you were having an afternoon reception I would go with #1, but since it's evening (according to your profile), I would go with #2. Both are really pretty!
