Help me choose invite wording!!

Hey ladies!! Okay sooo, originally I was doing DIY pocketfolds and posted not too long ago regarding formats and what not HOWEVER lazyness got the best of me and FH and I decided to just order invites from notfromabox.com instead.

give it up for us lazy brides.

anyway FH and I were playing around with wording and the original wording I had felt too plain to me, so we saw something else we liked in a magazine, then FH decided to combine the two and now we can't decide on what we want written. (Thank you FH )

The first is what we were originally going to go with, the second is what we saw in the magazine and the third is FH's hybrid (he was so proud of himself )

Anyway...let me know your opinion!!

Thanks

Depends on what you're going for.

Less formal? #2

More formal? #1

I picked #2...I think it sounds 'happier!'

Re: Help me choose invite wording!!

i'm going for honesty here....

i like number 1 - number 2 sounds like you're trying too hard to convey joy & happiness....ya know?????

i'm sorry if that came off harsh - but i think it's a little too much....

you know i adore you!!!!!!

Re: Help me choose invite wording!!

if you're having the ceremony at a church, i think it's more appropriate to say 'request the honor of your presence'...that's just my opinion, but also the appropriate wording if you're following etiquette guides.
