So we decided we didn't love the first course we thought we were going to have. We are having a 4- course meal and know the salad, entree, dessert but need to decide on the first course! So its between a pasta or a soup, and after we decide that we will have to choose WHICH pasta or WHICH soup. Sooo what do you think?
the pasta options we could have include: Pasta Provencale with Mediterranean Vegetables, Olives & Capers Penne Pasta with Vodka Cream & Fresh Tomato Spinach Pasta with Chicken, Mushrooms & Fontina Sage Sauce Farfalle Pasta with Artichoke, Sun Dried Tomato, Shiitake & Pancetta
I say soup. Those choices are amazing! I like choosing food that is not normally offered at weddings. IMO I'd choose the butternut squash soup. Yummy!

I think soup is a great choice. First, it's much more unusual because it is rarely served at weddings. I like that aspect of it. Second, butternut squash soup is perfect for fall and extremely tasty. I vote team Butternut.

welll i voted pasta first...
but after reading the responses...soup does sound yummy, especially in a fall wedding, and especialllly the butternut squash
wasnt sure everyone would like the soup choices thats y i voted pasta
so now i vote soup!

I'm torn between the penne nd the butterneu squash soup... but I'd probably do the soup since every event I've ever been to has had penne vodka involved somewhere. Mmmmmm butternut squash anything is awesome....

the only course i remember from any wedding i've been to was the italian wedding soup at my friend's wedding 4 years ago...i went to a wedding 2 weeks ago and remember nothing, but that soup......
