So we decided we didn't love the first course we thought we were going to have. We are having a 4- course meal and know the salad, entree, dessert but need to decide on the first course! So its between a pasta or a soup, and after we decide that we will have to choose WHICH pasta or WHICH soup. Sooo what do you think?
the pasta options we could have include: Pasta Provencale with Mediterranean Vegetables, Olives & Capers Penne Pasta with Vodka Cream & Fresh Tomato Spinach Pasta with Chicken, Mushrooms & Fontina Sage Sauce Farfalle Pasta with Artichoke, Sun Dried Tomato, Shiitake & Pancetta

although i went to a wedding that had clam chowder soup in a bread bowl which was heavenly! but i still am a pasta girl!

I'd say the pasta only bc those soups sound 'heavy' I couldn't eat much more drink too much more after any of those. They all sound delish and I love soup but to me those are like warm and cozy. I'd want PJ's and a good movie shortly after those.
Therefore I would say pasta choice #1
