if you do a backer on the invite (where the card is a border) I would do the lighter pocketfold with a darker border card. If your just doing the pocketfold I would do the deeper color since it pops more. If you want a softer look then the lighter color.

I was thinking I'd just do the pocketfold and print the invite on silver paper

I would go with the one on the left. It creates a nicer contract with the silver. Either one will be beautiful though. :)

I would choose the darker one too. I think it will look great with silver
