For years i always wanted to dance my father/daughter dance to Butterfly Kisses, but now there are some new songs that i've stumbled upon that i like too. Just wanted to see what you all thought. All theses songs can be heard on youtube if you've never heard them before. I'm open to any other suggestions as well. Thanks.

My cousin's new wife and her dad danced to I loved her first and it was an incredibly beautiful song, butterfly kisses has been done so many times and I think the former would be really sweet, but you have to pick a song that has meaning and sentiment for you and your dad, my dad and I are dancing to 2 songs, othe first is lullabye by billy joel and the second, in a tribute to my dads dad, my grandfather, we're dancing to young at heart by frank sinatra, which no one in my family knows about, it's going to be a surprise, good luck!!!

I recently attended a wedding where they played 'I loved her first' and everyone was in tears it was so beautiful. I definately recommend that song!

I picked My Girl because I think that Butterfly Kisses and I Loved Her First are too overdone IMO....I think they are both great songs and very touching but they are used a lot....and My Girl is sweet.

I Loved Her First would be our song if my father's heart wasn't set on the old classic Daddy's Little Girl. I think its a nice choice.

My dad and I are dancing to Have I Told You Lately That I Love You - Rod Stewart... (he used to sing it to me while I stood on his feet dancing in the kitchen when I was little )
