I'm in the beginning stages of looking for a catering hall. I want a place that has INCREDIBLE FOOD, not just a whole lot of food. Can anyone give me ideas of halls that have the most incredible food they have tasted? My mom told me of 2 weddings she has been to which the food was incredible, the Surf club and the Carltun. Anyone else have any suggestions?
I might be partial to the East Wind because that is where I'm having my wedding. I just went to one at the Bourne Mansion and thought it was great. If you find a place you like you should go to their bridal Showcases. I know Georgios is having one on Sunday. I've heard the food there is good too.
I too may be partial but Westbury Manor has amazing food. I was offered a tasting in their restaurant before booking and it was incredible. I highly recommend checking them out. Good luck.
westbury manor has amazing food.. but so does the thatched cottage. chateau briand is pretty good too.. but i wouldnt say its the best

I wasn't too impressed with the seated dinner at Glen Island ...the cocktail hour food was all very tasty...the plated dessert leaves something to be desired but the viennese is DELICIOUS !!!....the cake is one of the worse I've tasted (I'm really picky about cakes because dominican cakes are sooo good I compare everything to them)...I've been here two times, both times the service was excellent and the bartenders were on point.
villa lombardis has a ton of food and it all looked really yummy but i havent eaten there, i only ate at their restaurant mama lombardis which their food is delicious !!!!!!! their desserts are to die for ! villa lombardis also had the biggest list of upgrades i had seen out of all the rh's i looked at !

I definitely have to second Villa Lombardi's. Food was most important to me as well.....with a close second music. If you have great food and good music...people will have a great time! Lombardi's has impeccable service, beautiful displays, and the food is to die for. I know they have a showcase coming up in January. I looked at 22 halls (I know i'm crazy) and Villa was the second one I looked in to. NOTHING came close to it from my opinion in that price range. Happy hunting :)
I was looking for great food too. I went with Leonards. Like you said they give you a ton of food, but it is also very good. Go to one of their tastings, I think you will be very impressed. Their food is acutally very good.
