Help me find an Officiant

Hi Ladies..
I know I asked this a long time ago but I need to start looking for an officiant. I am Jewish and FH is Catholic. Neither are religious so we don't want any religious readings and prefer the person wear a suit.
Please help me. I have no idea!

we have the same situation as you. We wanted something nice, but with no mention of religion. We are using Rev. Debra Viola, she is wonderful and will plan your ceremony to include whatever you want. She is a vendor on here, under ceremonies of the heart. I really recommend her.

I love to pimp out my officiant! LOL Her name is Rev. Angela Heil, and she's amazing! She will make the ceremony as spiritual/religious or as civil as you want.

I swear you MUST at meet her...once you do you will feel so comfortable with her and feel like you have to have her perform your ceremony!

I am jewish and fh is Catholic. Although I would prefer just a rabbi, he is very insistent that we have both. From research on this site, i found that Rabbi Allen Block and Monseignor Lisante work very well together. I have only spoken on the phone with Rabbi Block and I don't have Lisante booked (I hear he is hard to book) but I did call him. Do a search under Lisante and also Block. Rabbi Block is (718) 531-7260 and Mnsgn. Jim Lisante is 489-8585 and is located in West Hempstead. Good luck ladies.

FI is jewish and I'm catholic so we're going with an interfaith minister.

I used Renwick Jackson, who is an interfaith minister. My DH is catholic and I am protestant, and we met with him to discuss exactly what we wanted in the ceremony (any mention of God, etc.). We wound up having it outside and made most of the ceremony about nature, and how amazing it is that two people find each other in such a large world. We didn't have any religious readings.

He did a fantastic job. www.renwickjackson.com

YOU CAN CHECK WITH YOUR TOWN HALLS. MOST MAYOR'S ARE ABLE TO OFFICIATE.

we are meeting with her on Monday... so far, from our phone conversations, she sounds great! I would also look into April, who is also a vendor on here...
