Help me find hairstyles that are very '40s-esque

I think I want an updo, but one that isn't high on my head. Somewhat lower down towards the nape of my neck, but not too plain. I love the look of a lot of the women of the 1940s, and want something that looks like it's from the era. This is my dress and her hair is low like I want it, but not the style I want.

Please help me!

Thanks, Sunny. I just hope it looks as good on me as it does on the model. As of now, it doesn't!
