Help me fund my wedding - I saw this on craigslist WOW

My fiance and I have been planning the wedding of our dreams for over 2 years now. We are only a couple of months away now. All of the arrangements have been made, but we are unable to get a loan due to past credit problems. We both have stable careers and are able to make monthly payments on a loan. We do not have collateral to put down on a loan, nor do we have a co-signer. I have been dreaming about having the perfect wedding since I was a little girl. I am only a couple of months away from this day and it is all falling apart. We are both dependable, hard-working people looking for a break. Can someone please help turn our dream wedding into a reality?

I don't know if I feel bad or if its a scam. I guess it took a lot of balls to put that up online.

I know people can get way over their head w/ weddings and just spending in general these days. FH and I have saved and planned and gone w/o things we wanted but didn't NEED to have our wedding day be what we always hoped it could be.

I feel bad for a minute when I see something like that and then I think W-T-F We could have bought and done a ton of things and then not have had $$$ for our wedding needs.

If it is not a scam then we need to thank God that we didn't have to go there. God is good! If it's not a scam I hope it all work out for them. I think everyone deserve a wonderful day.

Call me unsympathetic...but I'm a big believer of people living within their means. If FH and I didn't have any help from our parents, we probably would have gotten married where we live (in NC) instead of NY because of expense. We also would have had the wedding be much smaller than we have planned for now.

Sorry if I sound snotty, but we weren't originally expecting parental help and that's what we were planning.
