OK...some of you who were here WAY back when.... might remember when I said we weren't having a bridal party.
I ended up with
MOH / Best Man (both married adults (not married to each other)
Bridesmaid / Groomsman (will be 18 at the time of my wedding)
Jr Bridesmaid / Jr Groomsman (will be 10 and 11)
2 Flowergirls (6 and 3 at the time of my wedding)
2 Ushers (FH's brothers -- will be 19ish at wedding time)
What are some good gifts? I don't want to get them DOJ but I want to get them something nice, that doesn't scream 'PLEASE USE THIS FOR MY WEDDING AND THEN NEVER USE IT AGAIN.' I'm at a loss for this stuff...

Re: Help Me Girlies
For the 18 and 19-year-olds, you can't go wrong with giftcards to a store that they each really like. Some people think GC's are impersonal, but show me one 18-year-old that thinks that way!

Re: Help Me Girlies
What if you made a FG-type Build-a-Bear for the FG's? (Or if not that, then ones that are personal to each girl?)

Re: Help Me Girlies
I am getting my girls DOJ, but in addition to a whole slew of other things:
Tote bag Makeup brush kit w/ makeup case Lip gloss kit Bath & body kit (MOH's only) Totes isotoners ballet slippers Jewelry pouches that are great for traveling
Also, each girl I've known for a really long time. So I got them each a double picture frame and am putting a really old pic of me with each girl on one side, and leaving the other side empty for their choice of a wedding pic.
I may get them each a robe if I can find a decent deal on them. I was also thinking of getting them hand painted wine glasses, which I think are really cool. I'm sure I'll buy other stuff too, because I keep seeing things that I think are just too cute

Is this before or after my invite assembling party?!
I'm sure it'll be such a hardship for you to go to the Coach Outlet with me... I'm not above begging, you know

whenever you want. however, if your 'team' is going to help with assembling, you might want to wait till after to see what you want to buy them
i got some really nice wallets at the coach outlet for the girls
the kenneth cole store had some nice men's watches on sale.
For the little girls maybe a jewlery box or something they can use when they get older and have forever...

Re: Help Me Girlies
hmmm some of your BP is young which makes it harder.
i was thinking of getting my girls those robe wrap type things and their choice of a spa treatment.
the guys we are unsure of...maybe tickets to a met-yankee game since everyone is a fan of one of those teams.
are the young ones into video games or anything? maybe you can get them a game? for the girls maybe the make up route? go to eyeslipsface.com and make up a basket of stuff?
hmmm.....anything that they are interested in? you can get each one something different that fits their interests?

Re: Help Me Girlies
Thanks for all of your suggestions.
Only my MOH and my BMs wife and some other wonderful and dear friends will be assembling the invites... I am not letting 5 year olds near that stuff at all, nope!
I think the bracelet is a good idea... and I'm going to ask their mom what they're into once we get a little closer. Jewelery box is good too, they have a lot of that!
