...my hotel for my bachelorette party!! We're going to Vegas at the end of February and we're hoping to book this week or next!! The prices are AWESOME right now.
Anyway, I can't decide on a hotel! All of these are within our price range. I'd like to stay centralized and to have a hotel with a great nightlife. FH is going to be staying at Mirage which is perfect, but I think I want to stay somewhere different. Let me hear your opinions ladies! TIA!
Flamingo, Mandalay Bay, and Treasure Island are also in our budget, but these hotels seem cooler. LOL!

Re: Help me pick...
I've been to Vegas a few times and By far, I LOVED Mandalay the most, but it's a bit far from everything. I also loved MGM plus it's pretty central to a lot of things!

Re: Help me pick...
I stayed at Bally's and it was ok. best thing about it is that its right down the middle of the strip so everything is a walking distance. but if ur looking for a fun hotel I wouldnt choose it. I agree w/Becca and say Mandalay Bay. My 2nd choice and what I voted for is Luxor: looks cool, has clubs

Luxor, MGM, and NY/NY are not very centralized though ... they're all the way at the South end of the strip ...
when we went a few months ago, we stayed at Excalibur which is pretty much next-door to all of the above ... we wished we stayed in the center of the strip (like at Caesar's or Paris or whatnot).
you'll have an awesome time though regardless of where you stay vegas is so much fun, even if you don't gamble

I've stayed at the Mirage twice. I vote for it because it is right in the middle of everything and has a beautiful pool.

Yeah, I would've gone with Luxor hands down if it was more in the middle. I'm not all that lazy, I'll walk. LOL! But I just wanna make sure I pick a hotel that has a good bar that we can at least start off at. Or finish at since our rooms will be right upstairs!

Re: Help me pick...
I would put Mandalay Bay into the runnings...its a beautiful hotel...they have a great pool, lots of young people hang there.
also, check the MGM signature- it's their new hotel, behind the MGM... every room in the hotel is a suite! its absolutely gorgeous! I stayed there in May for my girlfriends bach party...it was absolutely amazing! It ended up being cheaper than the MGM Grand and its much nicer and only a few years old.
as far as being central on the strip, the first time I went I stayed central...the second and third time, I didn't. Its really not a big deal, at night you are prob going to take a taxi everywhere anyway, it will prob be cold at night in Feb and you will not want to walk.
wherever you stay you will have a blast!

Re: Help me pick...
not sure if its true, but i heard luxor has really small rooms.
another idea is to stay at a villa rental right off the strip. my FH is going for his bach party next month and they are using a time share - 2 bedroom suite that is 1 block from the strip

Re: Help me pick...
Ive only stayed at the Mirage... i love it. However, since you are going in Feb. and the weather is similar to NY I would suggest staying at a hotel with an indoor pool.

I voted for the Mirage, but I have also stayed at the luxor and treasure island. Luxor is really nice just further down the strip, but Mirage is right in the middle of everything.

Re: Help me pick...
Thank you so much ladies for all your input. Based on reviews and what I'm hearing, I'm crossing Luxor off the list and putting Mandalay Bay on there! I just wanted to stay in Luxor because it's a pyramid and I'm a nerd. Haha!
ETA: I'm talking to my MOH and one of my BMs tonight about it so hopefully we can decide and book by the end of this week! And Golden you know I will!
