If I absolutely had to make a decision, I would pick#1, though they're both cute!

#1, you can also have fresh flowers between all the teirs.

#1 mostly because I don't like the color of the flowers in #2-If that can be different then I like #2

I like #2, only because the detail is lost a bit with white basket weave, and white flowers. However, I do really like the look of basketweave. How about something like this?

I had the basket weave, but it was stacked (I don't really like tiered cakes), and the flower arrangement went down the side. I don't like it on the top for that cake.
