I used High Voltage and thought that Vinny did an amazing job. He was so easy to work with which was really important with all the other stressful decisions.

I hired Vinny from High Voltage sounds too! After seeing him at another event and reading all the good reviews here, I'm glad I picked him.

I went to a wedding with Vinny from High Voltage & it was wonderful!! I don't usually enjoy DJs but they were great - too bad this wedding was after we booked our DJ
Frank is the MC for all weddings and let me tell you this guy gets the crowd moving.... He had a bunch of people shaking and moving like crazy at a bridal showcase like I had never seen. And he Mc'd a wedding we went to last year and for him to get my FI on the floor and dancing like he did without alcohol in him I WAS IMPRESSED!!!

Another vote for Vinny from High Volatage. He was the only one who said 'It's your event - tell me what you want.' As opposed to so many who said: 'Oh, a wedding, here is how WE do weddings.'
He traveled an hour to meet with us, took lots of time, and was personable.

We only had the DJ. Vinny did have an assistant with him.

same here! We only met with him and loved him.
As of right now we are just getting him, but we are considering an mc also.. although you don't really need one with him since he can do the mc thing as well.

I met with Steve Mac and liked him but I am not sure if we are going to go with him. I have really not heard anything about him (bad or good), have you heard anything? Thanks.

Steve Mac was referred to me by a handful of ladies on theknot.com - b/c they're NYC girls. Only good things of course. I haven't seen him in action, so I can't say much. He was very pleasant over the phone and via email and worked w/my budget!
