Help me pick a HM Cruise!

So I'm looking into the HM cruise route b/c Im not sure if I want to wait around for a timeshare exhange to come through...

Which ship/itinerary would you pick? They are both similiar pricing and 9 nights.

Royal Caribbean leaves from Bayonne, NJ and goes to Bermuda, St Maarten, St Thomas, and Puerto Rico

Princess leaves from NYC and goes to Bermuda, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, and Grand Turk

I would say the Royal Caribbean. I've heard nothing but good things about them

I went on Royal for my first cruise and we went to bermuda and i thought the service and food was great so i would have no hesitation with them... I just have never been on princess before

tough choice. i chose the second bc i think grand turk is where we were when we stayed on grace bay beach--BEAUTIFUL. bermuda is amazing too. make sure you cut through the rocks to the left at horseshoe bay and find yourself a little cove for some private time

I picked Princess bc I've heard really good things about them... but FH went on Royal and loved it too.

I just think it would be easier to leave from NYC than having to go to Jersey.

did you check cruise critic .com? They usually have good reviews of each ship (its class/condition) and traveler reviews!!

I used to use cruise critic all the time but this forum has taken over my time instead LOL Thanks for the suggestion... I completely forgot about it!

i actually went on the crown princess cruise you are talking about, same destinations and its the one that leaves from red hook brooklyn.

I ABSOLUTELY loved it. We had such an amazing time. The ship is beautiful with lots to do. The food was real good and the staff was amazing when we went. I also love that they have movie under the stars. They have a HUGE movie screen on one of the decks(on the 15th deck) and you can sit anywhere around the deck on lounge chairs watching a movie. I have pics of this if you want to see.
