Sorry -- just saw your answer. I don't mean this to be rude, but what are cultural gowns? Are you having two ceremonies? What kind of tradition is this? Fascinating.

I'm Chinese, so there are certain things required by our tradition.
Here are my dresses for the wedding:
1. Reem gown for ceremony & cocktail hour 2. Monique gown for reception
(or the other way around. maybe save the reem for reception b/c it has more beading and will look nice under the lights? what do u guys think?)
3. Chinese Red dress for traditional Tea Ceremony (red, red, red dress with silver & golden dragons and phoenixes embroidered on the dress) 4. Chinese kei-po for Toasting guests (this will look like the traditional chinese gowns u see on tv with the mock-neck)

Wow, a friend from work is Taiwanese and she changed several times but not into two amazing designer gowns! SCORE -- love the Monique -- welcome to our little club :)
