Help me pick my colors, please

Hello, ladies. I am trying to decide on a color scheme. I'm thinking of having the girls in either a periwinkle or dusty rose & then using silver as my accent color (there is some silver in my dress). The only problem is that I'm worried this will clash with the reception room at the Port Jefferson CC -- which has gold chairs & a gold chandelier. What do you girls think?

I really dont think what your BMs wear will have much impact on the room itself. I used brass favors and centerpiece containers with gold chairs and I dont think it clashed much with the silverware.

Don't even think about the colors of the room to help you decide on your BM colors. Did you ever go to a party and pick your dress color to coordinate to the house? You just pick whatever you like.

I'm not being fresh here. Just trying to help you out with your decision. The girls dress does not have to match with the tablecloths and the room decor.

Thanks for all of your opinions. I'm actually more concerned with the silver and the gold clashing than with the BM dress.

The guy at our hall told us that he doesn't know who started the rumor that the girls dresses have to match the tablecloth and napkins. He said it absolutely doesn't.
